MIAMI, OK.--- The Miami Chamber of Commerce is planning a new event for the city. The first ever Miami Festi-Fall will be held Thursday, September 12th through Saturday the 14th. Around 70 retailers, churches and community organizations will fill the sidewalks of Main Street. There will be live music, karate and dance exhibitions, and performances from the Miami Little Theater.
"We kind of looked at doing something different. Everybody liked having downtown festivals on Main Street and what it does for our community. It brings people in, it helps local retailers and businesses, so that was something we really wanted to strive to do," said Michele Bolton, Miami Area Chamber Executive Director.
The Festi-Fall will replace the "Miami New Event" which was held for the last four years.
