Low Temperatures Are Benefitting One Local Coffee Shop

One 14 Coffee in Neosho has been open since the beginning of November just off the city's square on Wood Street.
NEOSHO, MO.--- The sun may be shining outside today, but low temperatures this holiday season are benefitting one Neosho business. "One 14 Coffee" has been open since the beginning of November just off the city's square on Wood Street. Owner Terry Tessmer says winter weather cancellations of events around Neosho like the Christmas parade and "Lighting of the Lights" has caused people to spend more time indoors, which has helped bring in business for the coffee shop.

"Cool weather and coffee always seem to go together. Of course, the holidays also fuel that. People just have a tendency to gravitate to coffee, hot chocolate, and something warm," said Terry Tessmer, One 14 Coffee Owner.

Tessmer thinks Neosho has benefitted from the colder temperatures because people are in the holiday spirit and spending more money at local businesses.
