JEFFERSON CITY, MO--- Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster filed a lawsuit Wednesday against DTS Brokerage & Development LLC and Pinnacle Plumbing LLC, both based out of Arkansas, for violations of Missouri's Underground Facility Safety and Damage Prevention Act, which is commonly referred to as the "One Call Law".

Koster says companies owned by the LLC's were performing excavation work in two residential locations in Joplin. The lawsuit alleges the companies were guilty of violations by calling in incorrect digging locations in May and June of 2012. In both instances, underground gas lines were hit.

Koster is asking the court to issue injunctions prohibiting the defendents from any further violations of the law; to assess a civil penalty up to $10,000 per day for each violation, and to require payment of all costs associated with the case.
