JOPLIN, MO.--- Joplin sales tax revenue is down slightly this month. The state sales tax revenue check came in about seven-tenths of a percent lower than last year. It's a difference of about $21,000. Those numbers are from previous sales and would not include the Christmas shopping time frame. Year to date, city sales tax revenue is down by 2%.
