Joplin Police Make Arrests in BB Gun Damage Cases

5 arrests are made in connection with recent window shootings in Joplin.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Tanner Wood, 17, Bradley Ferguson, 18, and Mason Zuraw, 19, are charged with property damage. Two juveniles have also been taken into custody.

The Joplin Police Department received 54 calls over the last 5 days about windows of cars, businesses, and homes being shot with BB's. Witness information led to the arrests.

"We were able to develop some suspect information from witnesses that saw it happen. Over the weekend, our patrol bureau really concentrated on trying to find those vehicles and they were able to stop the vehicle late Sunday night and made some arrests in that case," said Lt. Matt Stewart, Joplin Police Department.

Police say most of these incidents happened in the northwest part of Joplin. More than 80% of the damage was to vehicle windows, and about 20% was to houses and businesses. Officers say the investigation will continue, they ask you to call them if you have any information related to these crimes.
