CARTHAGE, MO.--- Crews are in the final stages of remodeling a new home for the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Randee Kaiser says crews are still finishing up administration offices on the first floor, and will be putting down carpet this week. The former bank drive through is now enclosed with a garage door to create space for storage. Workers are also putting the finishing touches on the new mezzanine floor which will house a training room and emergency operation center.
"When you have a vision of how something is going to look, it's always impressive to see how quickly that has come to fruition, and that's the case here. Building this mezzanine, this was formerly just an open area, and to see this mezzanine now up and in place and almost finished, it's just impressive," said Sheriff Randee Kaiser, Jasper County.
While the projected completion date is November 1st, the sheriff and staff will officially move in on December 2nd.
