JASPER COUNTY, MO.--- Jasper County commissioners reviewed 2012 audit findings this morning. A certified public accountant went over how Jasper County is spending its money, pointing out that crews tackled more paving projects last year. The report highlighted some potential accounting changes, but the county auditor says what they are doing now shows where each office is on their budget.
"As far as what we are doing works well for internally, for the county and of course the outside auditors look at this and they have found no major weaknesses, so I am happy with that," said Richard Webster, Jasper County Auditor.
The auditor says the county has had a clean audit for the past several years.
