JOPLIN, MO.--- Missouri lawmakers are heading to Joplin to find out what you think about the state of public education. The Interim House Education Committee is traveling the state -seeking input about what needs to be changed. Topics range from early childhood education and common core standards to virtual education and school safety. The group stopped in St. Charles and St. Louis today. They'll meet in Joplin at 7:00 this Wednesday night at Missouri Southern State University.
