JOPLIN, MO.--- Habitat for Humanity's "Restore" in Joplin opens a new location. The store was relocated because after the tornado, Habitat for Humanity offices were scattered throughout Joplin. The new location on north Main Street provides enough space for the workers and donated items. Habitat for Humanity Restores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
"We have to remember what the Restore is about and it's to help raise money to build houses, so keeping us together really helps drive all that home," said Cassie Wilkins, Restore Manager
The new store hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
