NEVADA, MO.---- Vernon County residents could be among those to have their personal information released by a Missouri Medicaid contractor. A glitch at Mo Healthnet caused more than 1,300 patients to have their name, address, birthdate and partial social security number mailed to the wrong address. Now, company representatives are contacting more than 25,000 additional patients about the problem. Executives say the good news is no medical or financial information was released and they've been able to identify and fix the problem. They are providing free credit monitoring to those affected.
