NEOSHO, MO.--- A former Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper will not go to prison on child molestation charges. Today, James Hall of Neosho plead guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and assault. He was originally charged with 1st Degree Child Molestation and 3rd Degree Assault. As part of his plea deal, Hall was placed on two years probation.
Under the probation, he cannot have contact with kids under the age of 17 with the exception of his own grandkids. He must also go under training or counseling regarding appropriate behavior with children. Hall was arrested a year ago on allegations of molesting three children under the age of 13 over a span of three years.
