Weir Meth Bust

Two Cherokee County residents are behind bars for allegedly cooking meth.
WEIR, KS--- Albert Taylor and Roxanna Hale were both arrested on allegations of manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and the Southeast Kansas Drug Enforcement Task Force raided a home at 411 W Oak Street in Weir, Friday afternoon. During the search, investigators found chemicals in various stages of the meth manufacturing process.

Taylor was taken into custody at the scene. The raid gave deputies probable cause to arrest Hale, who was taken into custody in Scammon, Friday night.
