WEIR, KS.--- A Weir man is behind bars following a drug raid this afternoon. Authorities took Albert "Eddie" Taylor the 3rd into custody on allegations of manufacturing meth, possession of chemicals with intent to make meth, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Around 1:30 this afternoon, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and Southeast Kansas Drug Task Force raided a home on West Oak Street in Weir. During the search, investigators found multiple items believed to be used to manufacture meth including chemicals and equipment. Taylor is being held in the Cherokee County Jail without bond. Formal charges are expected to be filed next week.
