WEBB CITY, MO.--- During the month of July, the group is collecting as many supplies as they can so kids can ready to start school in the fall. Last year, Bright Futures helped more than 400 kids with school supplies. Organizers suspect that number may be up this year.
"It is hard for families to buy school supplies for students, especially when you have more than one student in the family. School supplies can be expensive and the list seems to be fairly long for all families, so it can be a hardship," said Emily Wade, Webb City Bright Futures.
If you would like to help, a box has been placed at the entrance of the Webb City Wal-Mart. The group is needing items for all ages, including everything from crayons to calculators. For a complete list of needs, click here.
