WEBB CITY, MO.--- The Webb City Chamber of Commerce is hosting it's inaugural "Paint the Town Red" event. The goal is for residents to decorate their homes in red to show their school pride and the more creative the better. The chamber will pick a winner and they'll receive a prize package. Organizers say the goal is to get the community more involved.
"So we're trying to get the community excited about homecoming again. Trying to make it more of not just at the high school, more of a community wide event," said Gwen Allen, Webb City Chamber of Commerce.
The deadline to decorate your home is September 26th. You'll need to take a picture of your home and e-mail it to the Chamber. The picture will then be posted on their Facebook page and the one with the most likes wins. To enter, send your photo to email@example.com
