VERONA, MO.--- The Missouri Department of Economic Development partners with Kemin Industries to announce a $14 million expansion of its Verona facility. The 5 year expansion plan is expected to create 24 new jobs. It will allow increased production capacity of the existing facility that manufactures meat protein used in palatinates for premium and super premium pet foods. The Verona expansion is part of the company's global expansion. To help Kemin grow in Verona, the DED has authorized a strategic economic incentive package, estimated at more than $300,000.
