NEVADA, MO.--- A Vernon County agriculture course is aimed at helping women become better farmers. The Vernon County Missouri Extension Office is sponsoring a seven-week farm management seminar for women called Annie's Project. The idea is to discuss and learn more about land ownership, taxes, contracts, agriculture laws and insurance. The two hour sessions will be held at Crowder College starting January 28th. Seats are still open but space is limited to 20 women only.
