KANSAS--- U.S. Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas has been recognized for his work with polio. The Rotary International Group honored Moran as a 2014 Polio Eradication Champion. Moran helped provide $146 million toward research and has also helped increase funding by more than $40 million. The support of research helps saves lives and reduces health care costs. Rotary has contributed more than $1 billion to date to fight polio.
