Update: Lant Turns Herself In

Tabitha Lant accussed of taking money from the Seneca PTO turns herself into authorities Friday.
SENECA, MO--- Tabitha Lant is set to appear in court on August 19th for stealing more than $25, 000 from the Seneca PTO. Lant is charged with both Theft and Felony Stealing.

Lant was serving as treasurer for the group when the board president found insufficient funds in the organization's checking account. After an investigation, the Newton County Prosecutor's Office determined Lant had allegedly spent the money. She used the PTO debit card at Sam's Club, Kohl's, Walmart, and numerous gas stations.

Lant has since been released after posting a $5,000 bond.
