JASPER COUNTY, MO.--- A Jasper County radio tower project that will save taxpayers money is in the final stages. The tower was formerly located off of Atlas Road. Crews have now relocated it to the MODOT site at the intersection of highways 96 and 37 near Avilla. Construction crews were on site this morning continuing work on it. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office and MODOT will both use it as a way to share resources and taxpayer money.
