Update Arrest Made in Joplin Counterfeit Money Case

A Joplin man is arrested on allegations of using counterfeit money.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A Joplin man is arrested on allegations of using counterfeit money. The Jasper County Prosecutor's Office filed forgery charges against Jaymes Wright, 20, today. He's also been charged with possession of marijuana and trespassing.

Wright was charged after the Joplin Police Department received reports last weekend about counterfeit money being used around the city. The bills included 10's, 20's, 50's and 100's. Wright's bonds total is more than $8,000.
