Two Parsons Police Officers Injured While Responding to a Fight

The 38-year-old suspect was arrested and is being held in the Labette County Jail on 50,000 dollar bond.
PARSONS, KS.--- Two Parsons police officers are injured while responding to a fight. Police were called to a home ar 900 South 16th Street just before 7 yesterday morning. As they arrived on scene, they noticed the suspect walking away. Officers ordered him to stop, when he turned around he had a knife in his hand.

The suspect then fled, barricading himself in his home. As officers entered the residence, a fight broke out, two officers received minor injuries. The 38-year-old suspect was arrested on three counts of battery on an officer, aggravated assault, ostruction, criminal damage, domestic battery and disorderly conduct. He's being held in the Labette County Jail on $50,000 bond.
