Two Missouri Southern Football Players Killed in Car Crash

<br><font size=2>&nbsp;</font>Two Missouri Southern football players are dead following a crash on I-44.
SARCOXIE, MO---19-year-old Diondre Johnson and 19-year-old Michael McCrimmons both of Springfield died in the crash.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by 19-year-old Jeremy Johnson of Harrison, Arkansas left the roadway and struck the median.

Passenger Diondre Johnson was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

A passing semi-truck hit Johnson's car...killing McCrimmons.

Jeremy Johnson was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities say as he was moving away from the crash, he was struck by a vehicle on eastbound I-44.

Another passenger in the car, 19-year-old Patrick Holt of Benton, Arkansas, also suffered serious injuries.

Holt is a golfer at Missouri Southern.

The crash happened on eastbound I-44, 2 miles east of Sarcoxie just before three this morning.
