CARTHAGE, MO.--- The "Woodshed" inside Cherry's Art Emporium has transformed into a more people-friendly environment, from an added dance floor, to new seating and more live shows. It was originally a bluegrass venue with limited theater-style seating. Previously, the performances only took place the first and third Friday of every month, but now a different band plays every Friday night. The owners say since last July it's received many upgrades, including a wine and beer license.
"Not everybody loves bluegrass and so we thought we would introduce different types of music to appeal to different audiences," said Cherry Babcock, Owner of Cherry's Art Gallery.
She adds, eventually they would like to add chips and various dip platters. To view a list bands playing at the Woodshed this summer, click here.
