Share the Road

A local group is asking drivers and others who use our roads to be mindful of each other.
WEBB CITY -- Look4States, a local non-profit organization, spent Saturday morning unveiling "share the road" signs north of Webb City. The signs ask drivers to share the pavement with bicyclists and runners. Currently the organization is working to have bike lanes put into many roads. Group members say that sharing the road is the best way to keep everyone safe.

"The road is for everyone," says Frank Thompson of Look4States. "It's not just for cars. It's intended for cyclists, or people walking down the road where there's not a sidewalk and people running down the road."
