PITTSBURG, KS.--- New PSU students went through a seminar called Pitt C.A.R.E.S. which stands for Campus Advancement, Registration and Enrollment Services. The students, along with their parents had a chance to meet other members of the incoming class. They also learned where their classes are located and received information on all the services the university provides. Organizers say it's a much better system than students being confused on their first day.
"Instead of worrying about having to find classes and finishing up with paperwork. So we really try to take care of some of those anxieties now, so that they are ready to go in August," said Melina Roelfs, PSU Director of Admission.
The first day of classes is August 18th.
