PSU Early Impact Program

Pittsburg State University offers a new program to help students feel the impact of scholarships.
PITTSBURG, KS.--- PSU's graduation rate is just under 60%. This number does not include students who transfer out or take a break from school. A new program is helping Pittsburg State students feel the impact of scholarships. It's called "The Early Impact Program." It allows students to use money from donated scholarships immediately.

The PSU foundation will pay ahead on any new endowment of $25,000 or more. Traditionally, these scholarships take at least a year before they kick in. The program is part of the university's "Pathways to PSU Scholarship Program," which is a three year effort to raise $12 million in student scholarships.
