Police Looking For 11-Year-Old Girl

The Missouri Highway Patrol is preparing to issue an endangered person advisory in connection with a reported parental abduction of a 11-year-old girl from Marionville Elementary School this morning.
MARIONVILLE, MO--- The Missouri Highway Patrol is preparing to issue an endangered person advisory in connection with a reported parental abduction of a 11-year-old girl from Marionville Elementary School this morning.

A man, thought to be driving a white or gray Toyota Camry with Texas license plates reading BT3 T202, reportedly took the girl from the school about 8 a.m. Monday, according to school officials.

Superintendent Larry Brown said another school employee observed the girl being taken and noted the license plate of the auto. The girl appeared to be trying to get out of the car and was being held back by one of the two men in the car.

The incident was captured on the school’s security cameras and images of the car are being released.

“Fortunately, this is not normal for us here,” says Brown, “But we have done everything we know how to do from our standpoint to assist law enforcement.”

Patrol officials said an Amber Alert has not been issued in the case, but an Endangered Person Advisory is being prepared for release.
