PITTSBURG, KS.--- The "Pawprints on the Heartland" van will be in Pittsburg every Thursday throughout April. The nonprofit organization spays and neuters cats and small dogs at a low cost. All pets must be at least three months old and on a leash or in a carrier. The regular fee is $35 but there is assistance for low-income, disabled, and elderly families. Appointments should be made by calling 620-674-8133.
