Parsons Organization Offers Free Storage Space to Businesses Impacted by Tornado Damage

Great Plains Development Authority is offering free warehousing and storage space while owners cleanup and repair their business.
PARSONS, KS.--- A Parsons organization is helping out businesses and industries hit by yesterday's tornadoes. Great Plains Development Authority is offering free warehousing and storage space while owners cleanup and repair their business. Great Plains CEO Daniel Mann says the industrial park in Parsons has thousands of square feet available to help. The space will be at no charge on a temporary basis for those in need.

The park is located southeast of Parsons at the former Kansas Army Ammunition Plant. Mann says this is a way to repay the volunteers who responded to the F-3 tornado with wind speeds near 160 miles an hour that hit Parsons in 2000.
