MIAMI, OK.--- The 95th Annual Ottawa County Fair brought in more than 280,000 at the premium sale this weekend. One Miami resident helped beef up the sales by donating $140,000. More sale records were broken with two hogs being sold for $10,000 each.
"All this money goes to the kids. The sale started in the 1975 and the merchants in Miami have rallied around this year and just made it better and better, so this year was even a plus," said Mike Sexton, Executive Vice President of the First National Bank and Trust in Miami.
Although the sale is over, the First National Bank and Trust in Miami is still accepting donations until this Friday.
