Oronogo Residents want Mayor to Resign

Some Oronogo residents want Mayor Robert Pearish to resign after a recent court ruling that found him guilty of driving while intoxicated.
ORONOGO, MO---Several residents say they are attending the Oronogo city council meeting at 6pm Monday night to ask Pearish to step down as Mayor. On May 8th last year, Pearish was stopped by Carterville police and charged with a DWI. He blew a blood alcohol content level of 0.097, over the 0.08 blood alcohol limit in Missouri. Bob Pearish has filed to run for re-election in April as Oronogo Mayor. We will give you updates on what happens at the meeting on Monday.
