Oklahoma Males New Identification Requirements

Males ages 16 to 26 years old are now required to include a statement consenting to register with the Selective Service System.
OKLAHOMA--- Oklahoma male drivers have a new law to abide by when registering for a driver license and identification card. Males ages 16 to 26 years old are now required to include a statement consenting to register with the Selective Service System. This will be required for every original, renewal, or replacement application for a driver license or identification card.

However, even though he is registered, that doesn't mean he will automatically go into the military. It only applies if there is a draft, men would be called by random lottery number, which is based off their year of birth. Then, they would be examined for mental, physical and moral fitness by the military before being inducted, deferred or exempt from military service.
