Nevada Police Arrest Burglary Suspect

Cory Franklin Harper of Rich Hill was taken into custody by Nevada Police after a foot pursuit.
NEVADA, MO. --- Friday, April 25th, police were called to the 600 block of N. Cedar moments after a neighbor witnessed an individual force entry into another apartment. Officers located the suspect several blocks away. After a foot pursuit, officers took Cory F. Harper, 24, into custody.

Multiple items of stolen property thrown to the ground by Harper, were located and recovered by police in the area. Felony warrants have been issued by the Vernon County Associate Court for Burglary, Resisting Arrest, Stealing, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Harper's bond has been set at $25,000 cash. He remains in custody at the Vernon County Jail.
