Neosho High School Choir Firework Fundraiser

Local students are selling fireworks to help raise money for the upcoming school year.
NEOSHO, MO.--- The Neosho High School choir has partnered with Jake's Fireworks to help raise money to pay for performance costumes. The money will also cover travel fees like transportation, food, and hotels. 50 out of 100 choir members have been volunteering to help raise money.

"Each student there has to pay a $250 fee. Ideally, we would get that all covered now, and they earn money for how much time they put here. So some kids get close to it. You know, ideally we would get them all taken care of," said Melanie Soule, Choir Director.

If you'd like to help out, you can purchase your fireworks at the Jake's Fireworks at 1025 South Neosho Boulevard. They'll be open on July 3rd and 4th from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Again on the morning of July 5th if there are still fireworks available.
