Missouri State Highway Patrol Warns Drivers of Possible Flooding

The highway patrol is advising drivers to avoid flooded areas even if it doesn't look like much water.
MISSOURI--- Spring weather can bring varying temperatures and weather patterns that may be challenging for motorist and boaters. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is warning drivers of possible flooding. This affects safety on both the waterways and roadways. 

Large amounts of rainfall causes rivers and lakes to overflow. The highway patrol is advising drivers to avoid flooded areas even if it doesn't look like much water. This can cause vehicles to be swept off the roads and can easily flip. The patrol is advising drivers to take precautions when inside the vehicle or boat by wearing seat belts and life jackets.
