Missouri Property Assessment Forms

The state requires that you submit a list of personal property to the county assessor by March 1st each year.
CARTHAGE, MO.--- Time is running out for Missouri residents to turn in property assessment forms. The state requires that you submit a list of personal property to the county assessor by March 1st each year. That ranges from cars and trucks, to boats and farm equipment. If you have your original form, you can use the pin number listed to file online.  Otherwise, you'll need to handle it either in person at the office or by mail.

"No one's open on Saturday, but if they get it in the mail on Saturday, we'll get it on Monday and we'll count those as not late," said Connie Hoover, Jasper County Assessor.

Missouri residents must list all personal property owned as of January 1st.
