Mark Rohr One of Four Finalist for City Manager Opening in League City

Joplin's former city manager is a finalist for a similar job in Texas.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Joplin's former city manager is a finalist for a similar job in Texas. Mark Rohr is one of four finalists for an opening to be city manager of League City. The town of 84,000 has been looking to replace Mike Loftin, who resigned last October. Those in the running also include Jack Hamlett of Rosenberg, Texas, Michael Morrison of Irving, Texas and Mark Yearwood of Lubbock, Texas. Rohr was fired by a five to four vote of the city council earlier this month. No reason was given for the dismissal.
