Local Business Gets A Prestigous Honor

Max Motors in Nevada made honorary member of the Military Order Of The Purple Heart
NEVADA, MO --- A local organization is now a honorary member of the Military Order Of The Purple Heart.

Max Motors in Nevada was given a plaque and banner by Chapter 821 of the Military Order Of The Purple Heart today.  Max Motors was given the award because of their support of the military and veterans in Missouri through the "Hero's Welcome" program.

Commander for Chapter 821 Paul Starchman said he's happy to see the community help raise funds for military families and combat wounded veterans.

"There the first business in this area, that's reached out to our organization to help us support veterans," Starchman said.

"They've paid the ultimate sacrifice," Max Motors Owner Mark Muller said.  "Their time, and some of them their treasure, their blood.  And some of them, the ultimate ultimate sacrifice their life.  And I think they need to be recognized."
