Kansas Wheat Harvest Begins

Farmers are beginning the wheat cutting process in Columbus.
COLUMBUS, KS.--- Cutting was delayed due to Saturday's rain. The recent high winds have helped dry out the wheat, making the cutting possible. Farmers say the quality of the wheat is super high at 40 to 60 bushels an acres. The Farmers Co-Op says the price range for hard wheat is $676 and $528 for soft wheat.
