WASHINGTON, D.C.--- Tuesday, April 8th, U.S. Senator Jerry Moran, received the Alzheimer's Association Humanitarian Award.

The award is given annually to public officials who have made significant policy contributions to advancements in research and enhanced care and support for people with Alzheimer's disease. Sen. Moran increased the budget to $100 million this past year, the largest increase in Alzheimer's research to date.
