KANSAS--- Tons of prescriptions were disposed of during last weekend's National Drug Take Back Day. Six tons to be exact were collected by Kansas law enforcement. That equals almost 12,000 pounds of medicine from 117 locations throughout the state. Last year, more than 10,000 pounds were collected. This year is the largest amount state law enforcement received during "Drug Take Back Day." The drugs will now safely be disposed.
