Judge Declares Mistrial for Joplin Man Accused of Child Molestation

Late this afternoon, members of the jury announced they could not reach a unanimous verdict in the case of Christopher Foley.
JOPLIN, MO.--- A judge has declared a mistrial for a Joplin man accused of child molestation. Late this afternoon, members of the jury announced they could not reach a unanimous verdict in the case of Christopher Foley, 30. Prosecutors say if they decide to retry the case, a new trial would be held on April 25th. That decision has not yet been made. Foley is accused of sexually abusing a boy under the age of 10. Authorities say he met the victim through his job at the Boys and Girls Club, but the abuse did not happen at the group's facilities.
