Joplin Humane Society Foster Parents Needed

Workers at the humane society have issued an emergency request for help with their pets.
JOPLIN, MO.--- Every cage at the shelter is full and workers are looking for foster parents to the animals. So far this month, the shelter has taken in more than 250 animals and they only have room for a little over 300. Foster parents house the dog or cat until a permanent home can be found. This will also help empty up the cages, which fill up very quickly.

"We just need some folks to step forward. We can send you home with food. We can send you home with a crate. We can send you home with litter. We can give you what you need to take care of the animal. You just provide, we always say, the home and the love," said Lysa Boston, Joplin Humane Society.

If you would like to become a foster parent, you can call (417) 623-3642.
