Joplin City Council Preview

Joplin City Council will be asked to approve an agreement for Tri-State engineering at tomorrow's council meeting.
JOPLIN, MO--- City leaders will vote on approving the amount of 119,100 dollars. The money will be used for engineering and surveying services for the police and fire training facility.

A request for qualifications was sent to consultants in may of 2011 but was put on hold due to tornado that year. With the growth of Joplin, tri-state engineering believes this request is needed. Also, this public safety training facility will allow officers and fire officials to train locally.

The meeting takes place tomorrow at 6 pm at Joplin City Hall.
