JOPLIN, MO.--- Joplin parents have the opportunity to enjoy a night out for Valentine's Day. The Joplin Athletic Center hosted a kids night out to give mom and dad a break. The park and recreation staff supervised children ages 5 to 12 until 10 tonight. Children played games, watched movies, created Valentine's and ate snacks.
"After all that stuff, I am going to do activities! It's just so fun," said Lilly Meyer, Family Planning Participant.
The next family planning activity is on February 22 for the 15th Annual Father Daughter Dance at the McAuley High School gymnasium. For more information, contact the Joplin Athletic Complex.
