JOPLIN, MO. --- The Joplin Homebuyer Assistance Program or (J-HAP), has now awarded more than two million dollars to residents. So far, the program has received 239 application for funding, had 101 homes identified for purchase, and completed 74 closings. J-HAP provided up to $30,000 or a maximum of 20% toward a home purchase in the tornado recovery zone for buyers who meet income guidelines.
