FRONTENAC, KS.--- A Frontenac woman will go to prison for the death of her son. Today a judge sentenced Cara Lloyd to 61 months in prison for involuntary manslaughter charges, that's just over 5 years. Lloyd plead no contest to the charges back in October.

The charges stem from the October 2011 death of her 13-month-old son. Officers were called to a home on Labette Street in Frontenac where the boy was found unresponsive. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, where he died. Lloyd was charged with first-degree murder in April 2012, following a five month long investigation.
