Fourth Suspect Sentenced in Pittsburg Murder Case

Nathan Whitney has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
JOPLIN, MO. --- Nathan Whitney, 29, of Joplin, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for Second Degree Murder.

The charges stem from his role in the October 2011 death of Ryan Bailey, 21, of Pittsburg. Bailey was shot to death at his home in front of his family.

Three other suspects have been sentenced for their role in the murder of Ryan Bailey. Randu Rivera and Oscar DeLeon, both of Joplin, were sentenced to just over 14 years. Ricky Smith, of Joplin, was sentenced to 27 years.
