Former McDonald County Deputy Accused of Cover Up in Drunk Driving Case

David Roark admitted to taking a file from the sheriff's office and throwing it in the trash.
PINEVILLE, MO. --- David Roark, 44, is charged with a misdemeanor offense of tampering with evidence in early February. According to a probable cause affidavit, Roark admitted to taking a file from the sheriff's office and throwing it in the trash. The former deputy told investigators he was a friend of the businessman who was arrested for driving drunk.

Roark was fired from the McDonald County Sheriff's Office in June. He will appear in court for the first time on August 18th.
